General Objectives

The College of Nursing aims to produce a Professional Nurse who possess the necessary skills, knowledge and attitude in promoting health, preventing illness and restoring health of an individual, family and the community.

Specific Objectives

Develop health care professionals who:

a.) are socially conscious and responsive to the health needs of clients in any setting.
b.) will be active in nursing practice, education and research.
c.) possess managerial skills in nursing practice.
d.) can exhibit critical thinking and wise decision-making.
e.) can assist and implement training programs in cooperation with other agencies.
f.) possess positive work ethics and has commitment to service.
