Objectives:

In line with the Mission, Vision and Goal of DWCL, the GSBM envisions to accomplish the following objectives:

General Objectives:

Being the highest level in the institution, it aims:

 - To develop leadership and expertise in business, management and community development as a competent human resource base, needed for national and regional development.
 - To serve as lead department in research in DWCL.

Specific Objectives:

  - To train and nurture students by broadening their appreciation of the environment and economic, political, socio-cultural, and info-technology aspects of development at the practitioner and policy-making levels through research-oriented activities.

  - To produce business leaders, entrepreneurs and educators imbodied with Christian values, consistent with the thrusts of DWCL for excellence, professionalism and service.

  - To expand the managerial competencies of the administration, faculty and students in functional, personal, organizational and environmental skills, and in the process, to motivate them to commit the self to building meaningul and dynamic Christian families and communities.

  - To provide a forum for exchange of ideas, experiences and expertise from among the students, faculty and administrators in its efforts to advance the frontiers of knowledge and improved the lot of Bicolano people.

  - To provide the students with a wide range of exposure in research on the realities of Bicol (poverty, peace and order, environmental destruction and population), and opportunities to practice social responsibility and the Christian values of charity and social justice, and the practical application of management for sef and/or corporate employment.
