General Policy

The Divine Word College of Legazpi welcomes students with complete and valid credentials. However, each department reserves the rights not to admit any applicant or readmit former students whose qualifications do not meet its standards.

Conduct

A student or applicant whose private or public behavior is manifestly at odds with the objectives and standards established by the school may be denied admittance or re-admittance.

Foreign Students

Aliens will be admitted only after the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has evaluated their credentials. In addition, the overseas students are required to submit a permit to study from the CHED.

Students from foreign institutions of learning should apply to the college registrar and may be admitted upon submission of a certification as to their eligibility issued from CHED provided further that they qualify under the foregoing admission requirements.

Academic Delinquency

Any student with two or more failures, or who has been refused admission in other schools for disciplinary reasons, and/or poor academic performance shall not, as general rule, be admitted.
